Established in 1991, we are one among the largest dry charged battery manufacturing companies in Middle East. We also manufacture advanced Calcium - Silver sealed maintenance free batteries. Originally set up in technical collaboration with world renowned battery manufacturers, Johnson Controls Battery Group, USA , the powerful backing of this world leader had benefited us by the application of “cutting-edge” technology to all our products. Our installed capacity is 1.75 million batteries per year.

We are the first battery manufacturing company in West Asia with ISO 9001:2015 certification testifying to our independent design capability and customer focus. We have also been certified under ISO 14001:2015 for confirming to the International Standards for Environmental Management and under ISO 45001:2018 certification for adhering to the requirements of the Occupational Health & Safety Administration Standards.

With exports major among our sales, we are one of the top export performers in the Sultanate of Oman. In 2001, 2004, 2005 and 2008 we received “His Majesty’s Trophy” for being one of the best industrial companies in the Sultanate of Oman.

Reem’s PSBG (Power Solution Business Group) division caters both domestic and export market with Power Protection, Power Conditioning and Alternate (Renewable-Solar) Energy Products and solutions. Broadly categorized as UPS systems( REEM BRAND) & accessories, ‘DC Systems - Rectifiers / Chargers / SMPS’ & accessories; Industrial Batteries’ (VRLA-SMF, AGM, Deep Cycle, Traction, Solar, Telecom), ‘AVR, SVR, STS’ etc. & accessories, ‘Renewable Energy (SOLAR-PV)’ Solutions.

RB believes that good HSE performance will contribute and determine the success of the business and will treat HSE as an integral part of the business and with the same importance as other business goals.

Reem Batteries Will :

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations and apply internationally recognised standards where local laws and regulations do not exist.
  • Hold all levels of line management accountable for HSE issues
  • Promote Participation and consultation of employees on activities related to Occupational Health, Safety and Environment
  • Undertake appropriate reviews and evaluations of HSE management system and measure performance against defined standards, to ensure compliance and continual improvement.
  • Provide appropriate HSE training to employees.
  • Develop and maintain HSE emergency procedures.
  • Manage all risks to a level, which is “As Low As Reasonably Practicable” (ALARP)
  • Openly report HSE performance and ensure lessons are learned.
  • Control and manage all chemical, physical, biological, mechanical and psychosocial factors, which contribute to health risks.
  • Sirive to protect and promote the health of all employees and contractors.
  • Progressively reduce emissions, effluents and wastes and improve efficient use of natural resources and energy.
